Tuition and fees often vary by program. Please refer to the Tuition Tables, but verify tuition amounts by calling Utah State University Brigham City at 435-734-2277.
The application for Federal Student Aid (FSA) is available online. Click here. Financial assistance through this program cannot be awarded until you are fully admitted to the university.
If you plan to use financial aid (grants or student loan), scholarship, rehabilitation benefits, or any other type of assistance to pay for tuition, you must provide the office staff with verification of that assistance when you register.
Grants are awarded on the basis of exceptional financial need, with no requirements to repay if the recipient demonstrates satisfactory academic progress. Many students are eligible for student loans.
Because of complex federal requirements, it can take up to three months to process an accurate application. Errors will delay your award even more.
For more information on financial aid, please visit the Utah State University Financial Aid Office website, or call (435) 797-0173.

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. How much you earn depends on your skills and experience and the number of hours you work (a maximum of 20 hours/week). Utah State University student-employees are paid twice monthly (usually on the 10th and 25th) as wages are earned.
Work-study funds are limited and usually granted to early applicants with significant need. Work-study jobs are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualified applicants. Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be completed no later than February prior to the year in which you need financial aid work study.
Work-study jobs may or may not be available on the Brigham City campus. Eligibility for work-study does not guarantee a job.
