How to Register for Classes at Utah State University Brigham City

If you have been admitted to Utah State University:
If you have been accepted for admission to the Logan campus, you will be required to attend an orientation program for all new or transfer students called SOAR. You will receive information about the various options for attendance in your acceptance letter from the university. If you have been accepted to Utah State University but want to attend all of your classes at Utah State University Brigham City, you do not need to attend the SOAR orientation on the Logan Campus. However, our office will have to remove the SOAR “hold” from your records before you can register. Contact your USU Brigham City academic advisor regarding this hold.
It is strongly recommended that you make an appointment to visit with an academic advisor to discuss your individual situation and your educational goals.

- Click on the “Login to ACCESS” link.
- Login to ACCESS. Login is accomplished by typing in your student ID number and PIN number. Your student ID number is an eight digit number preceded by a capital A (for Aggie). This number was given to you in your admission letter, or you can find it on the ACCESS page at “Click here to find my A#.” If you require assistance, please contact the Computer Help Desk at 435-797-4357.
- “Student and Financial Aid.”
- “Registration.”
- Select a term.
- “Add or Drop Classes.”
- Enter the Course Registration Number (CRN) for each class you want to take and submit. Please review your class list for accuracy and print a copy for yourself. You can later add or drop classes by going back to the same screen.
- Your tuition and fees can be found by going to the bottom of the screen and clicking “Registration Fee Assessment.” Links at the bottom of this page will allow you to pay your tuition with Discover Card, MasterCard, or personal check. Tuition is due approximately two weeks before the semester begins (always check for the exact date). You can register before this date and pay your tuition any day between registration and the due date. If you register after the due date, tuition is due the day of registration.
If you have not applied for admission, or if you have been denied admission to Utah State University, you may still enroll in classes in Brigham City (in many cases). Make an appointment to visit with an academic advisor at Utah State University Brigham City. An advisor will review your individual situation and advise you on the course of action that best meets your needs. In many cases, a math placement test will be necessary to determine your entry level math class. After visiting with your advisor, you can register online as described above. Future admission to Utah State University will be determined by your academic performance.
Students on Academic Suspension cannot register for Utah State University classes until they have been readmitted to the university.
