Natural Discovery Gardens are the new playground concept in early childhood resulting from research and needs of young children. Natural discovery play gardens provide an outdoor learning environment for a variety of play opportunities embracing nature.   Play gardens incorporate water conservation and the natural habitat.

Little Brigham Aggies Play Garden will reflect the local environment and plants of Brigham City and Box Elder county. Play gardens foster exploration, investigation and discovery of the child’s outdoor world. Children are able to plant vegetable, flower, and butterfly gardens, build bird houses and play in the sand and dirt. Research shows this type of experience strengthens brain development, increases children’s ability to concentrate, enhances self-control and diminishes aggressive behavior. It offers many opportunities for parent and community involvement. It is required for accreditation with the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
