Educational Open House

Utah State University Brigham City Hosted Open HouseCollege of Natural Resources Display

In spite of the snowy weather, a successful open house was held at the USU Brigham City Campus on Thursday, March 1st.

Representatives from all the Utah State University colleges were in attendance. Displays were available from the College of Agriculture, College of Business, College of Education and Human Services, College of Engineering, College of HASS, College of Natural Resources, and the College of Science. Attendees received degree brochures, pens, highlighters, etc. from the various booths.

Interested students and parents from the area came to learn more about educational opportunities at USU, discuss admissions procedures, learn how to choose a major, and obtain information on how to receive financial aid.

Aggie Ice cream was a hit of the evening; the prize drawings were too. Prizes for the drawings were donated by the USU Brigham City Bookstore.

In the midst of the open house, current USU Brigham City students went about their socializing, studying, and class work.  They also enjoyed visiting the college booths.

One attendee commented, “I am very impressed with the technology available in your classrooms. Representatives from Logan who had not been to the Brigham City Regional Campus  commented on the large number of courses available in Brigham City, and were impressed with day care facility and the warm, inviting atmosphere.
